Visiting a spa is indeed a cool idea but you do not have to always visit one before you can experience that refreshing feeling you get after going through a session [at the spa]. With the right gears and substance at your disposal, you can have a pleasant spa session within the confines of your home.

So, what do you need to have that refreshing timeout at the 'in-house' spa? - Find the answers in the list below:

  • Essential oils

The very first thing that should make your list is essential oil- lavender, jasmine, chamomile, eucalyptus and suchlike. The soothing effect these oils bring is needed if you intend to have a fulfilling spa adventure. You can have the oil in a diffuser or you could go for candles [like the red flower candles] which have been scented with essential oils.

  • Face Mask

There are different kinds of face mask available in the market however, the sort that would serve a toning and/or detoxifying function(s) should work fine on you. A mud mask isn't bad either.

  • Cucumber Eye Gel

Cucumber eye gel is good for eliminating puffiness around the eyes. Plus, you also get to benefit from its anti-inlammatory property.

  • Foot Soak

Well, for this, you will be needing a bowl [in which you can have the mixture of baking soda, peppermint oil and some minerals in warm water]. After subjecting your feet to this treatment, you can moisturize them (the feet) with any natural moisturizer- for example: Aloe Vera or Coconut oil. You will also need to have your flip flops ready.

  • Bath Bomb

Your spa session is never complete without a hot bath. So, you might have to prepare your bath water with some bath bombs or fizzies. And after the bath, you can use body oil- like the Naturopathica Armica anti-inflammatory bath and body oil.

  • Spa Water

In order to have a calming experience inside-out, you should make your own spa water. This, you can do by mixing lemon, strawberry or some other fruit with mint in an infusion pitcher. Then, you can sip your spa water while you take your body through the pace.

  • Music

Before any (spa) session can commence, it is important to set the atmosphere- so, maybe I have left the very first necessity till the very end. For those who really know what it takes to have a refreshing timeout at the spa, the tune of a calming music is never to be substituted for anything else.

With all these in place, you should have nothing short of a relaxing experience all-togther at your in-house spa...and don't forget to have a fluffy towel in your (spa) kit.
